The purpose of the American Guild of Organists is to promote the organ in its historic and evolving roles, to encourage excellence in the performance of organ and choral music, and to provide a forum for mutual support, inspiration, education, and certification of guild members.
Hello, fellow AGO members, from your new Dean,. Things have been rather difficult for the past year and continue to be now. We have an exciting schedule of local artists and hope that we will be able to present these concerts without any more delays. We have Teodora Circiumaru presenting a recital at St Philip's Episcopal Church on September 24 and Ray Smithee and friends performing a program of organ, instrumental and vocal music at Northminster Baptist Church on February 25. Concluding this exciting year of music will be Michael Beattie performing with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra at St. James’ Episcopal Church on March 12 at 7:30. Please support the AGO this year in whatever way you feel comfortable.
